HELLO


I'M PAT!

As a coach, I love sharing my knowledge and experience with my athletes to help them on their running journey. My programming style could be described as slightly conservative (or calculated) with the focus on athlete wellbeing and ensuring we get the most from ourselves whilst reducing the risk of injury or illness.

 

My coaching style is based around educating my runners, teaching them to listen to their body and empowering them to be involved the decisions that lead to achieving their goals.

Running has always been a part of my life in some way shape or form.

Growing up, I loved cross country and little athletics, mostly enjoying the feeling of improving and beating my PBs. The sense of accomplishment from pushing myself led me to doing my first half marathon at the age of 12 (definitely not encouraged with the current medical info we now have available).


I spent a lot of time in the sport competing and building up towards coaching before falling out of love with it towards the end of high school, as other sports took the attention.


Running came back to me in my uni years as I become interested in working with athletes and wanting to specialise in sports rehab and biomechanics. Working for the past 8 years with sports injuries and coaching many athletes along the way I have seen what can happen when people attack their running without the necessary knowledge or forward planning.


My personal experience as a runner over the years includes a huge range of races/distances from 5km Park Runs to 100km Ultras.

Unlimited modifications to training week-to-week based on work/life

Run + S&C Coach

$50 per week

Personalised run programming

Strength training built into weekly training and based around specific training blocks/cycles

On boarding call to discuss training history, injuries and goals

 

Access to coach on a daily basis via our in app messaging service and phone calls with unlimited modifications to training.

Access to training app with videos and podcasts on how to improve your training and racing
